How the three electric calculators work together

The three tools follow the actual design workflow. Estimate the load current first, find a conductor size that meets the ampacity requirement with the wire size calculator, choose a breaker rating that protects that circuit, and — if the run is long — verify with the voltage drop calculator that the voltage at the far end stays within the allowed range. The three values are interlocked: change one and the others need rechecking.

Wire sizing applies ambient-temperature and grouping correction factors to the ampacity tables of KS C IEC 60364 and the Korea Electro-technical Code (KEC), and the breaker is chosen from KS C 8324/8453 standard ratings that do not exceed the conductor ampacity. The most common field mistake is checking ampacity only and ignoring voltage drop on long runs — never skip it for motor loads or long outdoor circuits.

Every calculator shows its working and the standard it is based on, so you can cite the source in estimates and supervision documents. Results are reference estimates; final design decisions should be reviewed by a licensed electrical engineer against site conditions and applicable regulations.
